However, behind its delicious taste, there is a threat you need to be aware of, namely crackers made with dangerous materials such as wax or plastic.

To ensure that the crackers you consume are safe, here are several characteristics you need to pay attention to in order to avoid the dangers of poor quality crackers

1. Colors that are too bright

Red or yellow crackers that are too bright need to be wary of. The striking color usually comes from additives used as food coloring.

Artificial dyes can be harmful to health if consumed long term, especially if they are not intended for food.

Crackers that feel very crunchy for a long time may contain dangerous additives, such as borax.
