“After 2 months onwards, they start to get bored or tired, so they don’t diet anymore. Apart from that, motivation is also important. I always ask my patients about the purpose of their diet,” said Dr. Feni.
According to Dr. Feni’s experience, if someone on a diet has a specific goal, for example wanting to look slim at an event or wanting to live a healthy life, they can increase their commitment to dieting.

2. Understand what foods you can and cannot eat
In dieting, 70% is about eating patterns. It relates to food portions and types of food. Dr Feni said that dieters must understand what foods they can and cannot consume.
