3 Temperatures for Drinking Hot Black Coffee According to Baristas, Which is the Best?


JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Ryan Wibawa, Head of Coffee Common Grounds, said that there is no wrong temperature when drinking coffee.

This only applies to coffee filters brewed coffee eyebrows manually using a filter.

He suggests waiting for the temperature of the coffee to decrease. At least until the coffee temperature is around 40-45 degrees Celsius.

“With that temperature, you can get more coffee flavor, like acidity, after tasteand the sensation when you drink it,” he said.

Finally, if the temperature of black coffee has cooled to 25-30 degrees Celsius, the sensation you get is also different.

Coffee can be drunk in larger quantities to get the original taste of the coffee brew.

“So, that’s what’s unique about coffee. If you take part in a competition, participants must know the differences in coffee taste at different temperatures so they can discover the character of the coffee,” said Ryan.
