3 Beef Satay Recipes, Suitable for Processing Sacrificial Meat for Eid al-Adha

Fried Beef Satay

250 grams of beef

Salt, pepper and coriander powder to taste

3 tbsp sweet soy sauce or according to taste

3 tbsp water

2 tablespoons oil for frying

Ground spices:

2 cloves of garlic

3 cloves of red onion

2 roasted candlenuts

A finger of ginger

Additional (optional):

Tomato

Red onion, thinly sliced

Cayenne pepper

Lime leaves

How to Make Fried Beef Satay

  1. Clean the beef, cut into bite-sized pieces, season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix well, set aside.

  2. Puree the shallots, garlic, candlenuts and ginger. Heat a frying pan, saute ground spices until fragrant.

  3. Add the beef, stir-fry again until it changes color.

  4. Pour sweet soy sauce on the side of the pan, season with salt, coriander and pepper, stir-fry briefly. Add water, stir well, then cover the pan.

  5. Reduce the heat and cook until the sauce reduces, the spices are absorbed, and the meat is tender.

  6. Check the taste, turn off the stove. Arrange on plates. Serve with complementary ingredients.
