JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Kopi Kenangan released two Kenangan Beans coffee bean products in December 2024, namely Archipelago Blend and Archipelago Reserve, derived from Indonesian coffee beans.
“With this coffee bean product, customers can enjoy premium quality coffee and make memories, anytime and anywhere,” said Edward Tirtanata, CEO & Co-Founder of Kopi Kenangan in an official statement received Kompas.com on Wednesday (11/12/2024).
Archipelago Blend is a coffee bean produced from a combination of the best coffee beans from Sumatra and Java, with a combination of the aroma of roasted beans, dark chocolatecaramel and spices.

Archipelago Reserve is a special blend of coffee beans from Sumatra, Flores and Java, which offers a unique taste with touches of chocolate, brown sugar, cloves and distinctive nuts.
Archipelago Blend is sold for IDR 95,000 and Archipelago Reserve is sold for IDR 110,000 per 200 gram package.
Furthermore, Gilang Suryo Putranto, Land Operations Specialist at Kopi Kenangan, suggested buying coffee beans rather than coffee grounds if you want to brew it yourself at home.
The reason is that coffee beans can be stored longer, up to one week after being opened from the packaging, while coffee powder or ground coffee only lasts one day.
“Coffee beans must be stored in a tightly closed container and not exposed to sunlight to maintain their quality,” said Gilang in the Memories Class activity at Kenangan Academy Jakarta, Wednesday (11/12/2024).

He also advised buyers of Kenangan Beans coffee beans to brew coffee using mineral water that is cooked until boiling.
Furthermore, Gilanng said that the method of brewing coffee, either with an espresso machine or manually, can be applied to brewing these coffee beans.
