Ramadan fasting intention

There are two types of Ramadan fasting intentions that can be read, namely the intention for one day and the intention for one full month.

1. Ramadan fasting intention for one day

If you want to intend to fast every day, here are readings that can be spoken before fasting:

نَوَيْتُ صَوْمَ غَدٍ عَنْ أَدَاءِ فَرْضُ الشَّهْرِ رَمَضَانَ هَذِهِ السَّنَةِ لِلَّهِ تَعَالَى

Latin Arabic: Nawaitu Sharuma Ghadin ‘An’ there is Fardhu-Syh-shyahri Ramadhana Hadzihi-Sanati Lillâhi Ta’âla.

Meaning: “I intend to fast tomorrow to run the Ramadan fard this year because of Allah Ta’ala.”

2. Ramadan fasting intention for one full month

For those who want to intend to fast for one full month, here are reading intentions that can be used:

Options 1:
نَوَيْتُ صَوْمَ جَمِيعِ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانِ هَذِهِ السِّنَةِ تَقْل above

Latin Arabic: Nawaitu Shauma Jami’i Shahri Ramadhani HadziHis-santi Taqlīdan Lil-Imāmi Mālik Fardhan Lillāhi Ta’ālā.

Meaning: “I intend to fast throughout the month of Ramadan this year by following Imam Malik, mandatory because of God.”

Options 2:
نَوَيْتُ صَوْمَ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ كُلِهِ هَذِهِ السِّنَةَ فَرْضًا لِلَّهِ تَعَالَى

Latin Arabic: Nawaitu Sharuma Shahri Ramadhāna Kullihi Hadzihis-santi Fardhan Lillāhi Ta’ālā.

Meaning: “I intend to fast for a month full of Ramadan this year, mandatory because of God.”
