KOMPAS.com – It only takes three cooking steps, you can serve a side dish of stir-fried long beans and salted fish.
Apart from the texture of the long beans which still feel crunchy after being stir-fried, this side dish is also more delicious because of the addition of salted fish.

Material:
- 200 gr long beans (cut into 3 centimeter pieces)
- 150 gr bean sprouts (remove the roots)
- 100 gr salted stingray or snakehead fish (cut into cubes)
- 5 pieces of young corn (cut into 1 centimeter)
- Enough oil for frying and sautéing
- 2 cloves garlic (crushed)
- 4 red onions (thinly sliced)
- 1 tbsp fish sauce
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 cm galangal (bruised)
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp granulated sugar
- 20 ml water
1. Fry foreign fish until dry. Lift and drain. Saute the shallots and garlic until fragrant.
2. Add long beans, soy sauce, fish, bay leaves, galangal, salt, sugar and water.
3. Cook over high heat until the long beans are wilted. Add bean sprouts, baby corn and salted fish. Stir well. Remove immediately and serve.
