Coffee is a favorite drink of many people. Not infrequently there are people who can enjoy coffee more than one glass a day.

During the month of Ramadan, many people are wondering, how can you keep drinking coffee in the holy month. The reason is, for coffee lovers, there is something missing if you don’t drink it for just one day.

According to Dr. Rita Ramayulis from the Indonesian Nutrition Expert Association, the best time to drink coffee during the month of Ramadan is between breaking the fast and interlude time at night.

He suggested that coffee drinkers to consume coffee when the stomach is better prepared, namely after breaking the fast.

You are also advised to stop drinking coffee for an hour or more before going to sleep, so that sleep patterns are not disturbed.

If you feel you still need morning coffee at dawn/before dawn, you may brew coffee again, but make sure to drink a lot of water afterwards.

This is because caffeine contains diuretic properties that cause you to urinate more often and dehydration during hours during fasting.

The best tips are actually by preparing the body by reducing coffee consumption gradually two to three weeks before Ramadan begins, so that your body will adapt to reduced caffeine intake during the fasting month.

Meanwhile, there is another alternative that is choosing coffee without caffeine. Because all coffee without caffeine only contains 3 percent caffeine so it will not interfere with your sleep routine.
