KOMPAS.com – Krecek fried sambal is often found in Yogyakarta specialties, namely Gudeg.
In addition to the warm, Krecek fried sauce can also be a complement to vegetable rice cake for Cap Go Meh.
Krecek fried sambal is cooked with spicy basic ingredients, rambak, tofu skin, tempeh, red cayenne pepper, bay leaves, galangal, and coconut milk.

Material:
- 5 pieces of tofu skin
- 150 grams of tempeh
- 3 tablespoons of oil to saute
- 2 tablespoons of spicy basic seasoning, ready to use
- 6 red cayenne pepper, let it be intact

Spicy basic seasoning ingredients (producing 850 grams):
- 30 shallots
- 10 cloves of garlic

- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 180 ml of cooking oil

- Krecek fried sambal: Sliced tofu and tempeh into small square. Set aside.
- Heat the oil, saute spicy spices ready to use with cayenne pepper, galangal, bay leaves, and lemongrass until fragrant. Add slices of tofu, tempeh, and boiled tolo beans. Stir well.
- Pour the coconut milk, cook over low heat while occasionally stirring until it boils and starts thick.
- Add krecek or rambak or skin crackers. Stir until wilted and absorb the seasoning. Continue cooking while stirring until the sauce is oily. Lift.
