Eating eggs every day can provide health benefits to the body. Because eggs are a good source of protein, vitamins and minerals. However, eggs also contain cholesterol and saturated fat which can have a bad impact on health.
In fact, cholesterol is a type of fat found in all animal products. When you consume too much cholesterol (fat), this causes several health problems, even the risk of heart disease and stroke.
Saturated fat, which is also found in eggs, is another type of fat found in animal products. This can increase LDL (bad) cholesterol levels and increase the risk of heart disease.
Consuming Eggs Causes Acne

Several studies have found that eggs are one of the foods that cause acne. This is because eggs contain high levels of progesterone, which is a hormone that triggers acne.
The study, published in the Journal of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, found that people who ate two or more eggs per week had a higher risk of developing acne. The study participants who ate the most eggs also had the most severe acne.
Another study looked at the effects of dietary cholesterol on acne. Researchers found that consuming foods high in cholesterol can increase levels of certain hormones in the body, which can trigger acne.
Apart from progesterone, eggs also contain high concentrations of iodine, biotin and albumin. Iodine is a known acne trigger, while biotin and albumin can contribute to acne formation.
