1. Choose a quality cilembu sweet potato
Choose sweet potatoes that are still fresh with a hard and solid texture. Avoid sweet potatoes that are soft or have dark spots because it can be rotten.

2. Wash the sweet potatoes before baking
Cilembu sweet potatoes must be washed clean before baking because it will be cooked with the skin. Use running water and gently brushes to remove the rest of the soil.
Do not peel the sweet potato skin so that the moisture is maintained during the roasting process. The whole skin also helps the natural sweetness come out to the maximum.
3. Wrap the sweet potato with aluminum foil
According to Chef Pian, wrapping sweet potatoes with aluminum foil will make it cooked more evenly. In addition, the texture of the sweet potato will remain soft and not too dry.

4. Bake with the right temperature and time
Heat the oven to 120 degrees Celsius before baking the sweet potato. Place the sweet potato on the pan without being stacked so that it is evenly hot.
Bake sweet potatoes for 40-45 minutes until the texture is soft and the sweet taste comes out. If the size is large, it can be extended for up to 60 minutes by occasionally turning the sweet potato.
