Drinking Apple Juice Regularly Can Lose Weight, Here’s the Reason

There are several drinks that can help you lose weight. One of them is apple juice which is good to consume regularly. This is the reason.

There are many methods for losing weight. You can follow a certain diet program to lose weight quickly. These include controlling food portions and avoiding high-calorie foods.

Some drinks are also said to help the process of losing weight. Like apple juice which is refreshing to consume.

Reporting from Food NDTV (17/1), apple juice is said to be able to reduce weight if consumed regularly. A study shows that apple juice can reduce belly fat which is good for dieting.

The research was published in the Journal of Oleo Science. Researchers claim that apple juice can significantly reduce belly fat in a matter of weeks. The researchers came to this conclusion after conducting a randomized study to examine long-term intake of polyphenols derived from apples.

A total of 124 participants participated in the research and were divided into two groups. Every day, one group was served around 340 grams of polyphenol-rich apple drink and the other group consumed a drink without polyphenols. After 12 weeks, it was found that the visceral fat area (VFA) of the subjects in the ‘apple group’ had decreased significantly.

Polyphenols themselves are natural plant compounds found in various fruits and vegetables. Apples are considered to be an excellent source of the compound and that is why they were used in this clinical trial.

While polyphenols play a major role in the process, apples also have other healthy ingredients. One of them, apples contain low calories, 100 grams of apples only contain 50 kcal.

Apples are also rich in fiber, especially pectin fiber. This fiber content can provide benefits in increasing metabolism, improving digestion and regulating blood sugar levels. It should be noted that the recommended apple juice is fresh apple juice, not packaged or bottled apple juice which generally has added sugar.
