Fore Coffee CEO, Vico Lomar, said Indonesia as one of the main producers of coffee in the world with very promising consumption growth. According to him, the Indonesian coffee industry does have enormous potential.

Vico sees the coffee industry in Indonesia having promising prospects and has enormous opportunities to continue to be improved.

However, Vico Lomar assessed that Indonesia still faces challenges. Indonesia is currently ranked under the Philippines with a ratio of more than 27,800 people per coffee shop. In addition, Indonesian per capita coffee consumption is still relatively low, only 1.0 kilograms per year, places it in the second lowest in the world.

In comparison, the data from the Redseer Analysis (2023) recorded that the consumption of coffee per capita country such as Finland reached 12 kg per capita or the United States of 5.0 kg per capita in 2023.

“This shows a great gap that can be filled and utilized by the seller, one of which is Fore Coffee,” Vico explained.
