KOMPAS.com – Leftover New Year’s chicken meat can be processed into delicious dishes.
You can make chicken stew using shallots, tomatoes, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, tamarind water, sweet soy sauce, pepper, ginger and garlic.

Material:
- 1 chicken, cut into 8 pieces
- 7 red onions, thinly sliced
- 1-2 tomatoes cut into pieces
- 3 cm of cinnamon the size of your index finger
- 1/4 nutmeg, crushed
- 2 cloves
- 1 tbsp sour water
- 1 tsp salt
- 500 ml broth from chicken heads and feet
- 4-5 tbsp sweet soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp ground pepper
- 300 grams of peeled potatoes, cut into 4-6 pieces, fried, drained
- 25 grams of vermicelli, soak in water until soft, cut into 10 cm pieces
Ground spices:
- 4 cloves of garlic
- 1 tsp chopped ginger

1. Marinate the chicken with one tablespoon of sour water and one tablespoon of salt, for 10 minutes. Fry until brown.
2. With three tablespoons of margarine, saute the shallots until wilted, add the ground spices, spices, soy sauce, tomatoes and stock, bring to a boil.
