Blessing Ramadan Donut Seller in Denpasar: Laks Thousands of Pieces-Omzet Rise

Ramadan 2025 became a blessing for donut traders at the Kertha Wijaya Shopping and Shopping Center, Jalan Diponegoro, Denpasar, Bali. This was felt by the owner of Cavia Donuts by Cavia Patisserie, Ni Putu Eva Yanti.

Donuts sold by Eva sold around 900 to 1,000 pieces on weekdays. While in Ramadan, donut production per day rose between 1,500 to 1,700 pieces. “Gratitude continues to run out,” Eva explained when found at the Center for Shopping and Shopping Kertha Wijaya, Sunday (3/16/2025).

As a result, the increasing sales also helped boost Eva’s daily turnover. He usually pocketed a turnover of around Rp. 6 million per day on a normal day. However, during the fasting month, the turnover penetrated almost Rp 10 million per day.

“The most crowded buyer on the first day of fasting. There are about five people each bought 10 boxes. Then the next day, one person buying an average of buying three to five boxes,” Eva said.

Eva sells a piece of donuts Rp. 9 thousand. It’s just that, he always directs customers to buy one donut box because the price is more affordable, which is Rp 35 thousand.

One Box Donut Cavia Donuts by Cavia Patisserie contains six pieces. The buyer is free to choose a flavor variant. They also get one free sugar donut pieces.

Eva sells her donuts with various topping variants, ranging from tiramisu, strawberries, matcha to chocolate.

“What is different from other donuts, our donuts can be soft for days. So, buy it now and eat tomorrow the donuts are still soft. I also had a trial like that,” explained Eva.

Not only donuts, Eva also offers banana bolen to sus cake. This banana bolen is also sought after by buyers. According to him, banana bolen can be sold up to 400 pieces a day. The price is IDR 44 thousand for eight pieces.

A man from Denpasar, Anak Agung Ngurah Doni, claimed to often buy donuts at Cavia Donuts by Cavia Patisserie. Because, this donut has become a favorite for his family.

“The reason is often buying donuts here because the price is cheap and the quality is okay. The best is the point,” explained Doni.

Doni at that time bought various variants of donuts, such as tiramisu, matcha, cheese, and also bolen bananas to sus cakes.

For information, Cavia Donuts by Cavia Patisserie is open every day from 10:00 to 20:00 WITA. While outside of Ramadan, Cavia Donuts by Cavia Patisserie opened Monday-Saturday at the same time.
