Nastar recipe without oven and mixer, use a teflon pan


Kompas.com – Nastar is a mandatory cake that is always present at Eid. This cake is synonymous with soft texture and sweet pineapple jam filling.

Usually, nastar is baked using an oven so that it is perfectly cooked. However, for those who do not have an oven, nastar can still be made only with a teflon pan.

According to Chef Siti Kanari, Senior Pastry & Bakery Cook at the Santika Hotel in Bandung, Nastar can still be crispy and soft if cooked with low heat using a teflon pan.

This article will discuss how to make nastar without an oven that remains tasty and melted. Follow the steps so that the nastar is evenly mature without easily charred.

Teflon nastar material

Pineapple jam material

  • 1 pineapple (about 400 grams), grated or blender without water
  • 300 grams of sugar
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon powder

Nastar leather

  • 450 grams of medium protein flour
  • 50 grams of refined sugar
  • 250 grams of butter
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 25 grams of milk powder
  • 1 tablespoon cooking oil

Prefinery material

  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 tablespoon cooking oil

How to make pineapple jam

  1. Grated or blender pineapple until smooth, then put it in the pan.
  2. Add cinnamon and cook over low heat until the water shrinks.
  3. After the pineapple starts to thicken, add the sugar and stir until well blended.
  4. Cook it until the texture is solid and not runny. Lift and chill.
  5. After cold, round the jam of ½ teaspoon and store it in the refrigerator to make it easier to form.

How to make nastar without an oven with a teflon pan

1. Mix the ingredients of the dough

In a large container, beaten butter, butter, and refined sugar until soft. Add egg yolks and stir again until smooth.

2. Add flour and milk powder

Add flour and sifted milk powder. Stir using a spatula until the dough can be rolled without sticky.

3. Form Nastar dough

Take a little 8 grams of dough, flatten, then fill it with a rounded pineapple jam. Cover and round shape again.
