SINGARAJA, BALIPOST.com – Entering the month of Ramadan, Muslims generally look for locations to hunt takjil before filling the time to break the fast.
One of the favorite places for takjil hunting is in the shock market in Kampung Anyar, which is located on Jalan Diponegoro, Singaraja.
Monitoring at the location on Wednesday (5/3) afternoon, hundreds of visitors were seen crowding the area of Jalan Jeruk that stretched for approximately 500 meters.
When entering the market shocked, visitors will be immediately spoiled with various types of culinary.
Starting from snacks of wet cakes, fruit compote, various ice, fried foods and some even sell heavy foods such as mixed rice. Residents were also seen crammed to buy their favorite culinary.
One of the cake traders, Gatot Santoso explained that his party had begun to trade since a dozen years.
He explained the orange road was indeed a favorite place for culinary hunters, especially the menu ahead of breaking the fast.
He said this market began to open from 15:00 WITA until 18:30 WITA.
Gatot also added, in a day his party could make a profit from cake sales of Rp1.5 million to Rp. 2 million.
He also explained, the buyer was not only from around the city of Singaraja. But there are also some people from outside who often shop here.
One of Hendra’s buyers said that besides the various menus offered, the price was very affordable.
