City Management (Pengkot) of the Sports Federation of Kabaddi throughout Indonesia (Foksi) Denpasar hopes that the Bali Provincial Government will immediately renovate GOR Lila Bhuana, Denpasar. The location is planned to be an arena of the Kabaddi match in the Bali Provincial Sports Week (Porprov) 2025.
Chairperson of Denpasar Fox Pengkot Ida Bagus Gede Ghana Putra Karang said that as the owner of an asset, the Bali Provincial Government is expected to immediately realize renovations. GOR Lila Bhuana in the GOR Ngurah Rai complex area received the spotlight from various sports due to the leaky roof and inadequate lighting conditions.
“Moreover, Mr. Giri Prasta as the Deputy Governor of Bali had said that he would renovate GOR. If he has discussed, we as sports people must be optimistic,” said Ida Bagus Gede Ghana Putra Karang, Sunday (9/3/2025).

The man who is familiarly called Gus Ghana revealed that the inadequate condition of GOR had disrupted the course of the Mayor of Cup 2024. During the match, heavy rain caused the field to be flooded, so the match had to be postponed for a long time.
“We as sports people really hope that the supporting facilities of this athlete can be improved. Moreover, the Kabaddi sports branch has proven itself in PON 2024 and then by becoming the overall champion,” said Gus Ghana.
Previously, the Head of the Youth and Sports Department of Youth and Sports Education (Disdikpora) of Bali Province, Putu Bayu Putra Mahendra, stated that the budget for the maintenance of GOR Lila Bhuana had been allocated in the 2025 APBD. At present, the procurement process is still waiting for the realization stage.
Disdikpora Bali, he continued, seeks to find solutions to the obstacles in the field, especially to speed up the maintenance process of the sports building so that it can be used optimally in the near future.
