KOMPAS.com – Ambon bananas that are almost rotten can be processed into soft sponge cakes, besides that the aroma is fragrant.
This banana sponge recipe is made with margarine ingredients, ambon bananas, eggs, milk powder, Emulsifier Cake, baking powderbaking soda, refined sugar and medium protein flour.
Banana sponge is baked with an oven at 160 degrees Celsius for 45 to 50 minutes.

- 200 grams of margarine
- 200 grams of refined sugar
- 4 eggs
- 3 tablespoons of milk powder
- 5 tablespoons of water
- 1/2 tsp Emulsifier Cake (TMB/sp)
- 3 cooked ambon bananas

- 225 grams of medium protein flour, 1 tsp baking powder,

How to make a grilled banana sponge:
- Beat margarine, refined sugar, eggs, milk powder, water, Emulsifier Cake, Ambon bananas, and lime juice until well mixed, add a mixture of flour, beat until thick.
- Put it in a 24 centimeter round baking pan with a hole in the middle that has been smeared with margarine and sprinkled with flour.
- Bake in an oven at 160 degrees Celsius until cooked approximately 45 to 50 minutes.
- Remove, remove from the pan and cool.
