Quoted from Kompas.com, Saturday (12/3/2022), wedang uwuh, which contains ginger as its main ingredient, can be used as an anti-nausea and anti-vomiting agent.
When your stomach feels full or your body has difficulty belching or passing gas, ginger can be an antiflatulent.
“Sometimes if we can’t fart, ginger can be used as an antiflatulent. The term is to help or flatten, so we can fart and burp,” said Prof. Dr. Mae Sri Hartati Wahyuningsih, M.Sc., Apt as a lecturer from the Center for Herbal Medicine FKKMK UGM and the Department of Pharmacology and Therapy FKKMK UGM.

Material:
- 1/2-1 red ginger or fragrant ginger
- 2 cardamom pods
- 1-2 bay leaves
- 1 piece of sweet leaf not
- 3-4 secang wood shavings
- 4-6 clove flowers
- 1 piece of akway wood
- Rock sugar to taste
- 150 milliliters of water
1. Grind the fragrant ginger or red ginger, break the cardamom, then put all the spices in a glass and brew with 150 milliliters of boiling water.
2. Leave it for 5-10 minutes, then drink.
