5 Ways to Make Ketoprak at Home in Jakarta Style


KOMPAS.com – Ketoprak is a typical Betawi food that is very popular because it tastes delicious and is rich in peanut sauce.

This dish is usually served with a mixture of vermicelli, bean sprouts, tofu, ketupat, and crackers, making it a simple but delicious dish.

In Jakarta and its surroundings, ketoprak is easy to find in street stalls and traditional restaurants.

However, who would have thought, making your own ketoprak at home is actually quite easy with affordable ingredients.

1. Ketoprak Jakarta

Ketoprak Jakarta is a typical dish that combines vermicelli, bean sprouts, fried tofu and ketupat drizzled with peanut sauce.

The peanut sauce is made from roasted peanuts, red chilies, garlic, brown sugar and a little salt.
