Spicy and sour egg soup ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons cooking oil
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 2 centimeters ginger (crushed)
- 200 grams medium sized prawns (peeled and cleaned)
- 750 milliliters of stock
- 5 fresh shiitake mushrooms (sliced)
- 100 grams bamboo shoots (cut into matchsticks)
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground pepper
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 5 tablespoons chili sauce
- 1 tablespoon cooking vinegar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch (dissolve in a little water)
- 2 eggs (beaten briefly)
- 6 chives (cut into 1 centimeter pieces)

How to make spicy and sour egg soup:
1. Heat the oil then saute the garlic until wilted, then add the ginger and shrimp. Saute until the shrimp change color.
2. Pour the stock into the stir fry, then cook until it boils. After that, add the sliced mushrooms, bamboo shoots, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, pepper, granulated sugar, chili sauce and vinegar.
3. Cook until the soup boils, then thicken the soup with cornstarch solution. Once thickened, add the beaten eggs little by little into the soup until they form strings.
4. Add the chives and cook briefly then serve while warm.
