JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Yudi Boim, owner of Justus Steakhouse, started setting up a processed meat restaurant in Bandung, West Java in 2015.
The former juice and burger seller succeeded in establishing 10 Justus Steakhouse outlets in Bandung within five years.
Not stopping in Bandung, Yudi expanded his restaurant wings outside the city. He officially established the first Justus Steakhouse branch in Cipete, South Jakarta in 2021.
Now, there are four Justus Steakhouse restaurants spread across the Jakarta and Tangerang areas, and the number will continue to increase.
“If there are no obstacles, in February 2025, we will open a new branch in BSD, South Tangerang and in April 2025, Justus Steakhouse will open again in Lebak Bulus, South Jakarta,” said Justus Group General Manager Sales & Marketing, Agung Setiadi Nararya, when found Kompas.comTuesday (7/1/2025).

So, why is this restaurant from Bandung targeting Jakarta and its surroundings as a new location?
Agung said that, from a business perspective, he considered that there were enough Justus Steakhouse outlets so he saw new opportunities by opening a branch in Jakarta.
The reason for expanding Justus Steakhouse outlets to Jakarta specifically is because the route can still be reached from Bandung.
“If we expand to the East, we have to open new tracks because the operational burden is high, we need more teams. In the Jakarta area, we can also go from Bandung,” explained Agung.
This is because all the ingredients needed for the Justus Steakhouse menu are made directly from the main kitchen in Bandung, before being distributed to many branches.
