KOMPAS.com – If you have a supply of vermicelli at home, you can process it into fried vermicelli cooked with tempeh.
Fried vermicelli is made with an appetizing spicy taste, perfect for a lunch menu served with pickled cucumber.

Material:
- 1 plate of boiled corn vermicelli munjung
- 150 grams of tempeh, cut into pieces, fried briefly
- 100 ml water
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 2-3 tbsp sweet soy sauce
- Pepper and salt to taste
- Oil for frying
- Sliced green onions and fried shallots for garnish
Spice:
- 1-1.5 tablespoons garlic baceman (onions mixed with oil)
- 3 large red chilies, cut obliquely
- 3 large green chilies, cut into pieces
- 20 red bird’s eye chilies, sliced
- 4 cm galangal, crushed
- 4 bay leaves
1. Saute all the spices until fragrant. Add water then bring to a boil.
2. Once boiling, add tempeh and vermicelli. Add oyster sauce, sweet soy sauce, pepper and salt.
3. Stir until the spices are evenly distributed and the water has reduced.
4. Turn off the heat, ready to serve with a sprinkling of green onions and fried shallots.
