Tips for serving fresh melon, add lime so it doesn’t change color

Melons are easy to find in markets and supermarkets, there are several types of melons, both local and imported.

To keep melons fresh, you need to pay attention to how to serve them, here is the explanation.

1. Cut the melon

Cut the melon into two parts and remove all the seeds.

2. Sprinkle salt

Sprinkle a pinch of salt on both sides of the melon flesh evenly.

3. Leave it alone

Let sit for 20 minutes before serving. The result will make the melon that is eaten sweeter because the salt draws the sugar fluid in the cells out towards the surface of the fruit flesh.

4. Store in the refrigerator for whole fruit

To make the fruit taste fresher, after washing the whole fruit, it can be immediately stored in the refrigerator until cold.

6. Splash lime
