2 Ways to Dispose of Skewers After New Year’s Grilling, Don’t Be Careless

1. Blunt the ends of the skewers

As much as possible, collect skewer waste in a special place, separate it from other waste.

After New Year’s Eve, take a number of skewers, then blunt the sharp ends. You can press or hit the pointed end against a hard surface, for example a wooden cutting board.

If the tip of the skewer is blunt, cover the tip with duct tape, then wrap it in newspaper.

Another way to dispose of skewers is to bury them in the ground.

This method is a little extra, especially since you shouldn’t just bury the skewers. First of all, tape the ends of a number of skewers using duct tape or wrap them in a plastic bottle.

After that, you can bury the skewers so they don’t harm other people.
