Jakarta –
There are many calls from the government to monitor the distribution of antibiotic drugs on the market. As a natural alternative, you can consume these 7 foods.
Distribution of antibiotic drugs is still occurring in the Indonesian market today. In fact, according to the Chair of the Daily Management of the Indonesian Consumers Foundation (YLKI), Indah Suksmaningsih, there are 70 percent of antibiotic drugs circulating on the market without a prescription from a doctor.
This raises concerns because consuming antibiotics without a doctor’s prescription can pose a danger of resistance in humans. The reason is, the dose for each person is not the same. For antibiotics to work effectively and safely, doctors need to consider several things.
Therefore, YLKI urges the government to monitor the distribution of antibiotics in the community more strictly. Everyone also needs to reconsider the effects before consuming antibiotics carelessly.

Honey also has a low pH which can affect antibacterial activity. Apart from that, honey also has hygroscopic properties which can attract water from the bacteria’s living environment, so that the bacteria become dehydrated.
