1. Gayo Arabica Coffee

Gayo coffee is usually grown in the Gayo area, Central Aceh. This coffee has a taste that is not too bitter with a touch of sweetness, nutty, and tends to be buttery. The aroma of this coffee is also very intense, namely the distinctive aroma of fragrant spices.

Reporting from the TasteAtlas website, Gayo Arabica coffee beans managed to occupy first place as the best coffee beans in Asia. These coffee beans are grown at an altitude of between 900-1700 meters above sea level and have been around since the 17th century.

Moving to second place are Kafae Doi Chaang coffee beans which are organic coffee from the Arabica, Caturra, Catimor and Catuai varieties. These coffee beans grow in the hills of northeastern Thailand, specifically on Mount Doi Chaang. This pure coffee is known for its refreshing characteristics and high quality.

This coffee has a good balance of sweet and sour flavors, with a honey-like aroma and hints of flowers and cherries.

Coffee beans are carefully harvested, hand-picked, processed and roasted, resulting in a coffee with a complex and exciting taste. Doi Chaang coffee contains low caffeine and is suitable to be served with fresh milk and a little added sugar. The price range for this coffee is IDR 135,500 on the market.

3. Kafaee Doi Tung

Lastly in the top three are Kafaee Doi Tung coffee beans, which are Kafae Doi Tung Arabica coffee beans collected from coffee plants that grow in the Doi Tung area in Thailand. This hybrid Arabica coffee is made from crossing Catimor, Catuai and Caturra hybrids.

These coffee beans grow in vast and beautiful forests, and are specially cared for by coffee farmers right through to the product process. The quality of the coffee beans is always strictly controlled, and the process of ripening the coffee beans is slow enough to ensure that the coffee beans have a balanced taste.

The characteristic of Kafaee Doi Tung coffee beans is that they have a sweet aroma, the taste is slightly sour but the taste is not sharp. The price range for coffee is IDR 117,000 on the market.
