Looking for a place to pamper your eyes and stomach in Bali? You can get it at Jatiluwih Resto aka JR at the Jatiluwih Tourist Attraction (DTW), Jatiluwih Village, Penebel District, Tabanan, Bali.
You can eat culinary specialties from Indonesia to the world from 800-900 meters above sea level (masl). The bonus is the view of world heritage terraced rice fields with cool air and a calm atmosphere.
“JR Resto carries the concept of one stop consume, meaning that you come here once to stop for lunch or coffee. Then you run a tour in the Tabanan area,” said Jatiluwih Resto Operational Manager I Ketut Suetra, some time ago.
There are several mainstay menus on offer, such as basil gurami, crispy duck, spring duck, and other menus. This menu is served with typical Jatiluwih red rice. The price is IDR 95 thousand.
There is also a snack menu such as red rice laklak, red rice serabi, brown rice sticky rice porridge, and other typical Jatiluwih menus.
“We highlight local menus, one of which is basil gurami accompanied by red rice, a specialty of Jatiluwih which produces the best red rice on the Island of the Gods,” continued Suetra.

There are other menus too. Such as various menus of fried rice, soto, tomyam, pizza, and salads. Prices vary, starting from IDR 40 thousand to IDR 185 thousand.
For drinks, tourists can order juice, coffee, tea, wine and even ice cream. Prices start from IDR 25 thousand to IDR 450 thousand.
Suetra said that 40-60 percent of foreign tourists visited this restaurant after the pandemic and the WWF event. Meanwhile, local tourists account for 30-35 percent.
Jatiluwih Resto is open from 08.00 WITA to 19.00 WITA. Visits are increasingly felt during weekend holidays.

“So the attraction, of course, cannot be separated from the world cultural heritage in Jatiluwih. Tourists are amazed and very satisfied with the views we offer,” he added.
