Material:
- 125 gr flour
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
- 125 gr margarine or butter
- 125 gr peanut butter
- 125 gr palm sugar
- 2 egg yolks
- 1/2 sunkist orange, grated skin
- 125 gr bread flour
- 200 gr almonds
- 2 egg yolks for brushing
How to make calmond cookies
1. Mix flour, ground cinnamon and ground nutmeg. Mix well, set aside.
2. Beat butter, peanut butter and palm sugar until smooth. Add the egg yolk and grated orange peel, stir well.
3. Add the sifted flour and bread flour mixture little by little while stirring well. Wrap the dough, freeze.
4. Cut the dough into rounds and place them in a baking dish that has been smeared with margarine. Brush the surface of the cake with egg yolk, decorate the center with almonds.
5. Bake in a preheated oven at 160 degrees Celsius.
6. Once cooked, remove from heat and let cool. Store in a jar and close tightly.
